Land and Assets
The Parish Council does not own or lease any buildings or garages.
The Parish Council owns the following land which is registered as village greens:
- Church Green, Church Road - approximately one acre of land registered as a village green located at the junction of Fingringhoe Road and Church Road, adjacent to the Church. Date of acquisition and value is unknown. The site is open to the public 24/7 and is used as a recreation ground by Fingringhoe Primary School. A board walk and picnic tables are available for use by the public and there is a large pond. The site is managed by the Parish Council.
- Pigs Foot Green, Chapel Road - a small triangle of land situated at the junction Chapel Road and Upper Haye Lane. Date of acquisition and value is unknown. The site is open public access upon which the village sign is erected and the blacksmiths anvil, to commemorate what was once the site of the blacksmith's forge. The site is managed by the Parish Council.
- The Recreation Ground, Furneaux Lane - leased on a 10 year lease at a peppercorn rent of £1 per annum expiring 30 June 2032. The site is managed by the Parish Council and is open every day between 8am and 8pm. There is a small car park, a play area for under 12's and open space with goal posts for ball games.
